Academic degrees :

  • 2007 : HDR, University Paris VI.
  • 1995 : PhD in Theoretical and Physical Chemistry, University Montpellier II.
  • 1988-92 : Graduated in Chemistry from the École Normale Supérieure de Lyon (BSc and MSc degrees).

Main collective and official responsibilities :

  • Head of the team "Photovoltaics, Optoelectronics and Nanostructures" (composed of 3 permanent scientists, 3 Ph.D students, 1 post-doc).
  • Former leader of the "Nanostructured films and Electrolysis" group (Laboratoire d’Électrochimie et de Modélisation pour l’Énergie, UMR7575).
  • Member of the scientific committees of several symposia on ZnO, Nanotechnology and thin film electrodeposition.
  • Member of the editorial board of the International Journal of Photoenergy.
  • Expert for the "Observatoire National des Micro et Nanotechnologies (OMNT)".

Research fields :

  • Perovskite solar cells, Dye-Sensitized Solar Cell (DSC),Quantum-dots solar cells, Photovoltaics.
  • Photocatalysis, Photoluminescence and Electroluminescence, Light emitting diodes (LED).
  • Oxide film and structure syntheses and characterizations. Hybrid perovskites.
  • Nanosensors.
  • Wetting properties of surfaces : superhydrophobicity, superhydrophilicity, adjustable wettability.
  • Strategies for semiconductor surfaces functionalizing (nanostructures, organic/inorganic materials…)
  • Nanostructured films preparation by electrochemical, chemical deposition, hydrothermal and sol-gel techniques.

Scientific production and activity (May 2018) :

  • 170 publications in ISI referenced international journals, 2 domestic and international patents, 14 reviewed proceedings, 15 other publications, 6 book chapters and Review papers.
  • 245 communications, 19 seminars in foreign universities and institutes.
  • H-factor : 47/>6500 citations (>780 each year).
  • Supervisor and co-supervisor of 20 PhD (3 are in progress), 3 post-doc fellows.
  • Head of 11 industrial research contracts and 13 academic contracts.
  • Member of 25 PhD jurys.
